Análise das competências e habilidades profissionais para o ensino religioso no ensino fundamental

This monograph has, as its main purpose, to analyze competencies and professional abilities, based on the author Philippe Perrenoud, focused on Religious Education (RE) in elementary school; considering the insertion of ER into the curriculum of public school, a result of the modification of Article 33 of the Law of Directives and Bases of Brazilian education and subsequent legislation, a descriptive and bibliographic research was made, aiming to clarify the legal basis since its origin and presence in Brazilian public school. The ER will require a competent professional who will be putting on formation competencies and abilities in the students, target of pedagogical actions. In this way, he himself will need to be competent and skilled in his pedagogical exercise, so that his teaching is effective. It is a matter of theory and practice. Our specific purpose aims to make explicit, analyze and visualize the competencies and abilities of the teacher, which can contribute to an ER free from catechesis and even proselytism; however, also aligning with the aspirations of a pluralistic society whose beliefs are multiple, avoiding privileging this or that belief in the classroom space. We note that the teacher of ER, regarding his professionalization, is still in the embryonic phase. Skills and abilities are not consolidated for this category. It is perceived an ER which develops itself from the practice room and borrows techniques from the practice of other disciplines already consolidated. To develop skills and abilities from its own theoretical framework is a challenge on going regarding ER.
