Influência da gestão no IDEB em escolas de qualidade no município de João Pessoa

This work aims to analyze the concepts and practices of school principals more Basic Education Development Index - IDEB in the city of Joao Pessoa in his last three editions, thus highlighting the profile of each school manager. For this semiestruturas interviews with managers were conducted, and according to the results we had management profiles approaching the idea of the manager as a leader who directs the other segments of the schools in their actions, seeking to achieve the objectives and aims. Importantly, there is a significant enhancement of the school community, where they have autonomy in relation to the participation of decisions to improve the teaching offered by the institutions.
