Historicidade da identidade afrodescendente na educação escolar da Comunidade Quilombola de Paratibe: um estudo de caso sobre o autorreconhecimento e o racismo.

This work proposes an analysis of the historicity of African descent as an important instrument of the self-identity in child in Paratibe‟s Quilombola community in the scholar‟s purview. For a reflection for the importance of the stimulus to self-identity of African descent in the scholar‟s scope, as also the identification of the difficulties related to de absence of this contents in the education subject. Showing as objectives, the exposition of African descent‟s history and quilombos in Brazil; the understanding of the self-identity process in education as a combat instrument to rascism; and the indentify schools as an ambit to construct de historicity of African descents, to target de self-identity of blacks. The adopted methodology was a bibliographic and qualitative research, using bibliographic and field research. Using observation techniques and semi- structured interviews, the whole study was based in the Politic and Pedagogic Project and the Extracurricular Project. This research was developed in the Municipal School of Paratibe‟s quilombo, following the theoretical progress by the authors Wieviorka, Serrano and Bejamim. The results of this investigation, show that the schools have a contribution in the daily learning process of the students about the topic of colored people history and culture, however this incentive could be applied in a strongly way gradually.
