Associates social responsibility (SR) of the librarian to perform such functions enables practices aimed at the humanistic side of the profession. Presents as a general objective to notice what the pre-graduating students of the Undergraduate Course in Library, 9th period, of the Federal University of Paraíba (FUPB) know about it by associating bibliotherapy and (SR) in the context of library economics practices. Methodologically apply questionnaire with 10 subjective questions to 22 (twenty two) students for data collection. It uses the principles of Bardin content analysis, for the categorization, explore both possibilities and relevance of activities, such as those of action for the future librarians. Concludes that bibliotherapy and the SR in the context of active librarian is understood by most of the students, which have a theoretical knowledge.
