For this purpose, the data of the IBGE Demographic Census 2010 were used, where from this population, only northeastern youth aged between 20 and 34 years residing in permanent private households in urban areas were used. (iii) Married young people with full higher education, with income, with children born alive, and Young participants of the PEA are less likely to remain in the home of origin, which is in line with what was expected. (iv) The addition of one person at home gives young people less chance of remaining in the home of origin. Therefore, one of the main reasons for this process are the demands of the society in which we live. Where satisfaction and fulfillment are associated with possession of material possessions, and therefore many young adults end up delaying their parents' departure to earn more income.","abstract_html":"The research aimed to present the factors associated with the stay of the northeastern young adult in the home of origin.
