Benchmarking no turismo: um estudo do conhecimento e sua aplicação nas pousadas do município de Conde na Paraíba

The study aimed to demonstrate the knowledge and application of Benchmarking in the hostels of the count-PB. In order to meet the objectives raised by research, a literature review was conducted on the subject in question and then proceeded to an empirical research, carried out by means of questionnaires with 38 hostels, located in the city of object study in April 2017. The collected data were transferred to spreadsheets and then transformed into tables, according to the sections of the questionnaires. Based on the results, the study concluded that, in spite of the respondents know and apply the benchmarking tools, failed to relate all the benefits provided by this management tool corroborating with the Kings, Saints and Portugal (2014) and Malik, Protil and Doliveiras (2010). In this way, the study suggests that the hostels deepen the use of benchmarking to help make better decisions about your business.
