Through play a child exercises all its potential, developed entirely by sociality, cognition and motor function. Is specific objectives analyze how the use of games on children's learning and verifying the design of the teachers respondents about the importance of using these tools in pedagogical practice.The qualitative research was developed, through a bibliographical analysis, where we use studies of authors like Barbosa (2009), Friedmann, (1996), Kishimoto (1997), Maluf, (2003), Vygotsky, (1991) among others. We conducted a theoretical survey about the importance of playfulness and the possibilities that the games offer for the formation of the child and to the teaching and learning process. Adopt as methodological strategy field research developed through the application of educational games with the students of the child class IV, following with semi-structured interviews with the other teachers of early childhood education. The results of this study showed that the teacher assumes primary function in the mediation process, organization and direction of the games. Through the reports of the questionnaire showed that all the respondents recognize the importance of the use of these instruments in their routines. However, there is still need for the same ressignifiquem using these playful tools valuing teaching and giving potential openness to new ways of teaching and make the process more lively, dynamic educational and enjoyable for the children.","abstract_html":"This research aims to discuss the contributions of fun and games in the everyday actions of early childhood education.
