Poetisas de cordel: temáticas abordadas em sua produção literária

The popular literature reflects the life of the northeastern people, told in verse and prose, depicting historical and current events of their daily lives in a simple and popular language, and is a rich source of information, covering topics. This study aims to identify the topics covered by forty-seven poets of string. The corpus of this work consisted of ninety-five line of booklets about 53 (fifty three) that resulted in the following themes: Culture Critical Social, Violence, Religion, Healing, Biography, Peleja Mythology feeling, Animal, Town Planning, Wedding Death, Survival, Souvenir, Discrimination, Pettiness, Weatherproof, temperament, Play, behavior, counseling, Ecology, Food, Health, Magic, Linguistics, Education, Memory, Morality, Politics, Evolution, Transformation, Nature, colonization, Election, Awareness Communication Matrimonio, Evil, Cataloging, adventure, betrayal, suffering and enlightenment. To address issues addressed by the poets of string, a survey of twine brochures was made in the research environment the Popular Research Program (PPLP). Verified with the topics covered by the poets were diversified. The string literature is a rich and diverse source of information providing access to the cultural experience of a particular people, portraying facts and situations in which the community is aware, dealing with social issues with a popular language.
