O impacto da internet nos produtos e serviços da biblioteca universitária

Analyzes the impact of the Internet on the products and services of university libraries, as well as the evolutionary changes in the provision of services and the provision of information products aimed at assistance to information needs of users of libraries in the academic sphere focusing on the credibility of the information. Uses theoretical contributions about literature involving the large network of information, the library from the beginnings to the university library, products and services in these information environments to the impact of the internet. It is characterized as qualitative research whose search sources are predominantly bibliographic, and It is characterized as the objectives as strictly exploratory research. Opens the door to investigations in the area of the impact of the internet involving users of university libraries and the routine work of librarians since the internet came to facilitate interaction and the production of knowledge in the academic community.
