A temática ambiental integrada aos componentes curriculares do curso de Ciências Contábeis, Campus IV, da Universidade Federal da Paraíba

This study aimed to investigate the integration of the environmental theme in curricular components in the course of Accounting Sciences, Campus IV, Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB). The procedures used to conduct the study and the data collection were used descriptive and documentary research, as well as bibliographic research on environmental management, environmental accounting and professional accounting. In order to appreciate the data, the qualitative approach was adopted through structured interviews. The data collection was promoted to obtain the perception of the teachers linked to the Accounting Sciences course on the relevance of the insertion of the environmental theme in the professional training of the accountant And in the management of companies, Lattes teachers 'curricula were analyzed to understand the existence of teachers' knowledge related to the Environmental Theme. In this perspective, it was observed that the environmental theme is integrated to the curricular components of the course of accounting, however, it is perceived that the approach of this theme could be more representative considering the relevance relevance to environmental issues by contemporary society.
