A importância de jogos para o ensino dos números inteiros

This study aimed to develop an instructional sequence for teaching the integers withthe use of games. To this end, we analyzed the activities present in the textbook of the 7th year of elementary school adopted some of the public and private schools of the city of Itabaiana-PB, on activities that use math games for the teaching of whole numbers, and prepare an instructional sequence for use in the classroom.According to Rego & Rego (2004) the game, if well chosen and exploited by the teacher and students can contribute to the Teaching of Mathematics. With regard to the use of games in the classroom and on the teaching of the integers, we adopt the concepts of Rego & Rego (2004), Moura (1994) and Van de Walle (2009). We observed that the present activities in the textbook adopted in schools A, B and C,is not just the exercise, most of the activities is presented with the use of games that can assist students in learning the operations with integers. We want to make the suggestion of the use of games, from teachers, as the conditions offered by the schools. Because we believe that this feature facilitates the understanding of the operations.
