Violência na escola: quais são as causas que levam esse fenômeno ao âmbito escolar?

This research show with violence in school and aimed to analyze the causes that promote this phenomenon in the school context. It is known that school violence is a practice that exists since the middle ages and lasts until today. What was meant to be a healthy relationship turned out to be a field of threats, assaults, and abuses between teachers and the students themselves. The authors that served as a theoretical basis were: Priotto (2009), Boneti (2009), Rosa (2010), Pino (2007), among others. The type of research was descriptive, field and biographical. The methodology used was qualitative approach. This research was done in a state school, in which questions were asked to investigate the cause of school violence, the participants were the teachers and the coordination. They know the phenomenon, but they do not know how to improve the situation inside the school.
