Thus, the diagnosis through Doppler ultrasonography can show reproductive problems. The aim of this study was to evaluate the correlation between testicular hemodynamics and sperm quality, emphasizing sperm motility. Six stallions of a quarter of a mile, healthy, were used in different reproductive conditions, located in the state of Paraíba. In the ultrasound evaluation Doppler mode, the indexes of pulsatility (PI) and resistivity (RI) were calculated using spectral or pulsed Doppler mode. The blood flow of the pampiniform plexus was evaluated through the Power Doppler mode and the testicular parenchyma through color Doppler mode. The ejaculates were evaluated for vigor, volume, concentration, integrity, plasma membrane functionality and motility. Data were analyzed using JMP® 10.0.0 (Demo) and Microsoft Excel 2016 software. The mean values and coefficient of variation were plotted and a correlation analysis of spearman's was performed. The stallions presented an average of 44.6 ml of volume, 100 x 106 cells of sperm concentration. Motility averages were 69.17, vigor 4, plasma membrane integrity 41.83 and functionality of the same 63. The eosin-nigrosin and host tests demonstrated that the lower the pathologies, the better the motility. Relationships between motility and PI were found, the lower the PI the better the sperm motility. On the other hand, RI had no difference in relation to motility. The association of andrological examination with Doppler comprises a more reliable diagnosis of the fertility of the stallion.","abstract_html":"The testicles depend on an adequate blood perfusion, where any alteration can cause problems in their function.
