Padronização de periódicos científicos: a aplicação da ABNT nos periódicos eletrônicos de Biblioteconomia do Brasil

The evolution of technologies has initiated successive advances in the area of production of scientific knowledge. The journals that are virtually published are proof of this advantageous knowledge because they bring to the scientific community the divulgation of knowledge production in a fast way, and including the maximum of researchers. In this context, the standardization in the edition of journal is fundamental in the process of information disseination. This way, the present research aims to investigate the standardization according to the Brazilian Association of Technical Rules (ABNT) of the electronic journals about Librarianship in Brazil in the first semester of 2015. In this sense, it is an exploratory, descriptive, bibliographic and netnographic, research with qualitativeapproach. According to the followed methodological procedures, it was possible to identify the electronic journals about Librarianship in Brazil; to list the standardization rules for the publication of journals in accordance to the ABNT; to describe the volume and the most recent number that was published in 2015 of the journals about Librarianship in Brazil; and to describe the standardization according to the ABNT for periodic publications. From the collected data, which were treated and analyzed, it is verified that, despite of all the journals establish the ABNT pattern, some rules are not being followed in totality. The editors are adapting some rules, in order to facilitate the visualization of information to the researcher.
