The research is also intended to verify if these citations are used by other authors. In the last ten years, 297 students of Librarianship concluded their course. However, it has emerged a problematic: the undergraduate dissertations are not available on the web, making difficult for other users have access to the produced content. The research is justified by the fact that undergraduate dissertations are still considered grey literature and one of the challenges of scientific communication is to propitiate access as well as to measure the use of such contents. The methodology used a descriptive, quantitative approach, and the data collection was done by means of reports of Google Books and Google Citations. There were analyzed 60 undergraduate dissertations available at Google Books and the data analysis was done by means of citation analysis. The results show that the works presented on average 3,447 accesses and correlation 0.59, which is considered a moderate correlation. It was verified that the undergraduate dissertations of the undergraduate courses in Archival Science and Librarianship in the UFPB were more cited by the students of the own institution. The citation analysis was an efficient method to observe the sample of this research. However, some care and common sense are needed in relation to the interpretation of the results of bibliometric studies because not always they show that the most cited is the best. They can also show that, at that moment, the most cited was the most accessible and visible.","abstract_html":"The present research is about the citation analysis in undergraduate dissertations of the students that concluded the undergraduate courses of Archival Science and Librarianship in the UFPB from 2008 to 2012.
