The methodology used for the elaboration of this research has a qualitative approach, resulting in a descriptive, exploratory study of the subject of environmental protection in João Pessoa, the research has been developed by identifying and reading the bibliographic and documentary material available as well as fieldwork has been conducted with the government agency responsible for protecting the area.
