Indisciplina na escola e as concepções dos profissionais da educação

The indiscipline is one of the main problems found in the schoolarship context. There are many complains from the professionals involved. Both the family and the shcool find dificulties in dealing with the situation. Therefore, the main objective of this paper is to analyze the educational professionals' conceptions about the indiscipline at the school, and thus, to understand the phenomenon of the indiscipline nowadays. The present study is characterized as a descriptive research of qualitative character, which ten educational professionals from diferent institutions in the city of João Pessoa/PB attended. These professionals answered an open questionnaire built specifically for the research. Thereby, it is intended to alert the educational community in general about the importance and necessity of dealing with indiscipline, enabling a broad discussion, as well as the pursuit of strategies that minimize such conducts and provide the individuals’ full socio affective and academic development.
