O transtorno do espectro autista: percepção dos educadores e da família no processo de inclusão
Abstract
dc:description.abstractAutistic spectrum disorders (ASD) is characterized by a group of symptoms that interfere and damage child development, being more substantial in the areas of communication, integration and socialization, reflecting in the whole life of the affected child and also, in their families life. Thus, it is a disorder known worldwide and discussed by many experts, but little is known about its etiology and treatment. Up to the present time, some techniques and assumptions justify its incidence in people's lives. Therefore, regarding curiosity and desire to contribute to the society in general, this study aims to know the perception of educators and parents about the ASD, analyzing their answers and also, whether they knowabout the inclusion process for these children. Notably, laws have been already sanctioned in favor and benefit of these children and thus, seeks to know if in fact, they minimize and contribute in the inclusion process of children in schools or other educational facilities. 10 teachers and 10 parents participated in this work. Through their answers, we noticed that too little has been done to facilitate school entrance and, almost nothing is known about the laws of inclusion.Believed to be of great importance the knowledge and practice of these laws, allowing the egress and a work focused on the real needs of children with ASD.
