This study is a literature which aimed to analyze the relationship that the game have with the process of learning in early childhood education from the perspective psycopedagogy from the characterization of child development and demonstration of play as essential for this stage to discuss the benefits/list of players with the children’s learning process. The selection of the literature was done through research in Scielo platatforms, Google academic and books of the area in order to investigate about the relationship of play on child learning process. The play besides being planned in the pedagogical proposals for education should be a present event in the experience of infants, as this is a tool of future impacts on the child’s relationship with the routine of school learning and social life.
