O desafio dos conselheiros para o acompanhamento das ações do FUNDEB nas cidadesde Bayeux e Cabedelo

The research analyzes the profile of the members of the Board of Monitoring and Social FUNDEB Control (Fund for Maintenance and Development of Basic Education and Enhancement of Education Professionals) in the cities of Bayeux and Santa Rita , state of Paraiba . The public policy management councils are channels of participation and social control. In this case, specifically, it is a board facing the supervision and monitoring of the allocation of public resources to finance education. The study will confront the legal skills of FUNDEB counselors with their activeness in the public sphere , pointing out the difficulties and challenges in the dialogue between government and society, the effective representation of advisers for the exercise of social control .
