Gestão de competência no setor público: um estudo de caso em uma agência da Caixa Econômica Federal (CEF) no município de João Pessoa

Market globalization of contingencies has forced companies to seek growth and new management techniques in order to survive, be it public or private sphere. Therefore, the Competence Management is a very important factor for the existence of a good performance within an organization. In this context, the development of Management Skills enables organizational practices are directed to a more effective management and compatible to the competitive strategy of an organization. This monograph aims to describe the necessary technical knowledge of the Management Skills used in agency of Caixa Econômica Federal - CEF in João Pessoa city and the result of these to operational effectiveness in customer service citizen. Because it is a descriptive study, the data collection method that will constitute support study will build on the pickup primary and secondary sources, using, after processing the information, the qualitative approach as a mechanism for analysis and interpretation. After collecting and analyzing the data it was concluded that the ideal profile found in the perception of surveyed employees, involves the three dimensions of competence: knowledge, skills and attitudes massively important. It was also found that by adding the results of the indicators, which Planning, Leadership and Ethics are important items to hold the position of manager in the CEF.
