This work studied the Family allowance theme cash transfer program. Given the breadth of the subject, the study narrowed its approach in an attempt to study the changes and the potential that the family allowance program has caused in the lives of some women in the city of João Pessoa. The general objective that guided the research was mapping the women who returned their cards benefit the family allowance program in the city of João Pessoa. With special attention to training and overcoming the socio-economic life of these women, and also has changed in their profile, when they began to be benefited by the family allowance program. Anyway, knowing that the cash transfer program and its significance in the lives of women. The research was qualitative, conducted through semi-structured interviews with six former women benefited from the program. This choice of research was preferably be the woman owner, to be included in the family allowance program. This study was careful to analyze the program (PBF), specifically the positive effects plucking former beneficiaries in their lives.
