Abstract
dc:description.abstractOur theme is a study on the use of children's songs in the pedagogical education. The study was conducted from a literature search. Thus, the work intends to make an analysis of the main theories that discuss about music and children's musicality and their role in teaching and learning. The authors surveyed are: Brito (2003), Smith (1986), Felipe (1998), Fonterrada, (2005), Gainza (1988) among others that address concepts of music in kindergarten. The results indicate that the music in early childhood education allows teachers to work in order to get acquainted with the art. By introducing the children's songs his pedagogical action, the teacher can facilitate the student learning process, through intervention and strategies that enabled better result, in short, can continually rebuild their practice, thus contributing to a better development of children served in Early Childhood Education.
