The family that presents itself in society as an initial basis for the informal education of children should, in partnership with the school, contribute to the formal education being built benefiting the full development of the students. As a methodology, bibliographical research was carried out in articles, monographs, books and websites, where authors such as (DESSEN; POLONIA, 2007); (CHALITA, 2009); (FREIRE, 2009), among others, have contributed to enrich knowledge about the subject.
