dc:description.abstractAmong the essential public services, health stands out without a doubt, and this requires a well structured management to be performed satisfactorily. Indigenous people need assistance for differentiated health, which after many struggles, was conquered, but needs to be improved. The management of indigenous health has undergone several transformations, from the year 1910 until the present day. With Law 9836 of September 23, 1999 and the implementation of Special Indigenous Health Districts in the country, in the same year, opened the National Indigenous Health Policy and refers to the Ministry of Health's role primarily responsible for its implementation. This work has as main objective to discover and describe the articulation of the DSEIs Potiguara acting as a management tool in health care of the indigenous people Potiguara and Tabajara, located in Paraiba territory, as the specific objectives is to present a brief history of policy health for indigenous peoples in Brazil, identifying the existing institutional framework for the management of this policy featuring the indigenous population of Potiguara and Tabajara ethnicity of public Paraíba, target of this research, know the plans streams identified in the District Plan DSEIs Potiguara for comprehensive care the indigenous population and to identify and map the institutional framework for the management of indigenous health care policy in the territory Potiguara and Tabajara state of Paraiba and map as they occur / are provided primary care services in the territory of DSEIs Potiguara identifying the participation of organizations civil society in the provision of health services to the indigenous population in the territory Potiguara and Tabajara of Paraiba. This is a theoretical and descriptive, and as a method of study was made using a data collection with subsequent analysis of official documents, as well as research on sites and legislation concerning this area and technical publications available through database of indigenous health (SIASI and HORUS) specific technical and cultural publications, the indigenous health database (SIASI) and IBGE statistical sources also have their importance in the construction of this work. A major step was the standardization of SUS, through Decree nº.7.508 / 11, which grants the work of the Commissions DSEIs's Inter-Regional (CIR), a fact that contributes significantly to improving access and comprehensive care of this clientele within the SUS. This work aimed to the set of tools that guide the implementation of this service, since the legislation governing the National Policy on Indigenous Health to the knowledge of the key players involved.
