Concepções da equipe multiprofissional do CAPS - álcool e drogas sobre o cuidado em saúde mental

dc:description.abstractIt is a descriptive exploratory study, developed in a qualitative approach, conducted in the state of Paraiba, in the county of Cabedelo. The survey took place from December 2014 to July 2015. Data collection took place in March of this year. The objective of the research was to analyze the conceptions of health workers CAPS ad Primavera, about the mental health care provided by the professional staff of the cited device. To collect information was drawn up a semi-structured interview. As participants, included are six health workers, members of the multidisciplinary team of CAPS ad. As inclusion criteria for the study, the following aspects were considered: having a high level, be active in CAPS ad Primavera for at least six months, acceptance and consent to participate and authorization for recording interviews. The ethical principles have been met as required by Resolution 466/2012 of the National Health Council. In the evaluation of empirical material, the methodological steps of content analysis were used according to Minay. The research results revealed that the multidisciplinary team of CAPS ad Primavera considers the work in the mental health world, especially in the field of care for people with alcohol abuse and other drugs, a significant challenge where difficulties of different magnitudes are identified to be faced and overcome. Study participants also highlight the need for qualification of the multidisciplinary team and the ongoing challenge of teamwork as essential aspects to be examined at mental health care. With regard to the identified problems in the mentioned CAPS ad everyday, health workers highlight the existence of significant bureaucratization of the service, insufficient material resources for performing groups and workshops, limited infrastructure of the mental health device. These aspects should be analyzed aiming to improve care provided by the team to the users assisted in the aforementioned Psychosocial Care Center, scenario of this study.
