This movement led to the creation of a stigma, making unproductive people in individuals who add nothing to conviviality and social progress, and that thought accepted by much of the population considered productive. One of the groups of people considered to be disposable, are the people in the streets. The study aims to know the acting of Occupational Therapy along with people on the streets, using as a tool a literature review conducted in the databases MEDLINE, LILACS, BIREME, Scielo, in conference proceedings and Google Scholar. This ended with the balance of 16 works, 7 summaries and 9 articles. The content of these works had different perspectives on the public, but faithful to the commitment to meet to assist these individuals. The work arising from this review were of great importance to know the movements for this audience, which is being designed and put into practice.
