Therefore, the right to health as a guarantee to all Brazilian citizens was discussed, the inclusion of the National Medicines Policy (PNM), the history of Cannabis as well as expert opinion on the use of this substance for medical purposes, as well as the epidemiology of Some neurological diseases. Thus, from the collection of data in specialized magazines, books and research on the subject, it was noticed that the use of Cannabis for medicinal purposes had some advances, but there was not yet a change in Brazilian legislation.
