Such fractures, for often cause significant interruptions in these occupations to individuals which may result in a disease process even more energetic. Thus, this study sought to identify the contributions of occupational therapy in the rehabilitation process. The proposal was to intervene with conventional treatment method of functional rehabilitation prospects of occupational therapy and also through the virtual reality method with the use of an electronic device - Leap Motion - which captures movements motivated by a game that makes the man use hand movements to perform this command. They were made initial and final evaluations in the goniometer to measure joint range of motion and applying a standardized instrument, the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM), which checks the occupational performance of the individual. After analyzing the results it was observed gain in the range of all the joints measures: flexion, extension, radial and ulnar deviation, pronation and supination. The subjects also demonstrated improvement in performance and satisfaction in performing daily activities. The results of this study showed the efficacy of the intervention using virtual reality method. Subjects undergo the treatments were able to play in a better way its activities gaining more autonomy in the conduct of these.","abstract_html":"This study is a work of Occupational Therapy Course Course Completion of the Federal University of Paraíba and aims to identify within the functional rehabilitation improvement in occupational performance of injured individuals with healed fractures in the distal radius region.
