O câncer do colo uterino: uma análise da prevalência e prevenção da doença no Hospital Napoleão Laureano na cidade de João Pessoa - PB

This paper addresses the issue of cervical cancer to evaluate the profile of women according to the variables and prevention, which are expressed in the case study developed in the city of João Pessoa in the state of Paraiba. This study aimed to identify and analyze the prevalence of diagnosis of cervical cancer at the Hospital Napoleon Laureano in the years 2012 to 2015 and interventionist practices. To substantiate the research, we used the descriptive typology with quantitative approach, as well as two semi-structured interviews with health professionals. Data analysis was based on 393 cases of female patients diagnosed with cervical cancer. He introduced himself mean and median and identified frequencies of the corresponding variables. They drew up contingency tables between variables calculated using the chi-square test and made up two interviews that contributed to achieving the goals of the research. Based on the information collected, it can be said that poor users are more tending to have fewer opportunities to receive relevant and timely information on prevention activities. For this reason, probably belatedly come to care when their health is already very committed and can no longer do surgery, which causes high chances of not heal and come to death early to discover too late diagnosis. Thus their rights are curtailed.
