Ascensão da Rússia no cenário internacional pós-Guerra Fria: um enfoque na relação com a Ucrânia

This paper aims to present the rise process of Russia in the International and regional area, exemplifying a contemporary case of Ukraine and its civil conflict. For this, it was made a division of the paper in three principal chapters for understanding of this evolutionary process of the country rise, through your foreign policy, involving the historical context of the Cold War, democratic transition, the government of Vladimir Putin and an analysis of the Ukraine region, with the following question: What are the internal changes taking place in Russia after Vladimir Putin came to power and how these policies contribute to the rise of the country in international and regional scenario?
