Metodologia em Relações Internacionais: uma análise dos periódicos RBPI, Contexto Internacional e Carta Internacional em 2014

This thesis looks into the theme of Methodoloy, in order to discuss the methodological Achille’s heel in International Relations, in order to examine the use of quantitative methodology in publications in IR in Brazil. We aim to understand the methodology of papers in the IR field, through data collection of the articles published in 2014 on the academic journals RBPI (A1), Contexto Internacional (A2) and Carta Internacional (B1). Thus, based on an analysis of the use of methods in the three leading scientific journals in the field of International Relations, we intend to recognize how the selected journals reported the methodology of work in IR and what are the possible implications for the field of study.
