Transvestites, transsexual women and men therefore face problems with seemingly common situations such as being in public places without being intimidated or getting a job vacancy without their gender identity restricting possibilities and workplaces. The research whose approach is characterized as qualitative had as a general objective to understand how the transvestites and Transsexuals women access and stay in one of the spheres of social interaction, the labor market. For this, as a data collection instrument, the semi-structured interview was used, with the women who agreed to be collaborators. The data were analyzed according to the theoretical and methodological references of sociology and work, aiming to raise categories of analysis, themes and relevant reflections to be discussed. It can be noticed that the trajectories of their lives were and are marked by various violence, these marks are imprinted when the rights denied by them are evidenced by the fact that they do not fulfill the expectations that were attributed to them socially, pushing them to a situation Of social vulnerability, overcome by the fragility of work links or social relations. It is necessary to build public policies for the insertion of this population in society in all social spheres that are entitled to it, that these gain visibility for the professional and personal potential they have and not for a pre-established image that has them as abject.
