Treat is a research whose objective is to analyze the reading practices of 9th grade Municipal Violeta Formiga School, theme chosen due to the science of risk reality experienced by these young people in their sociocultural context. The research has exploratory and descriptive, and of qualitative and quantitative approach. Includes bibliographical research to write a review of literature and field research, using a questionnaire with opening questions and closed. The results show the profile of the studied students, their reading practices and their use of the library.
