Abstract
dc:description.abstractThis work aims to highlight the influence of party ́s political ideology and some governmental actions on President Lula’s administration in Brazil. It is important to say that the Workers Party and its whole trajectory of political ideology formation, gave emphasis to International Relations themes, trying to construct a democratic International System, and also defending the regional integration in South America as a developing tool for the countries. In this context, the Party’s official literature, resolutions, and tendencies, will give an important direction and understanding of the Party’s dynamics. The analysis will go through the literature which talks about Lula’s administration, highlighting him as an important actor, with his advisor, Marco Aurélio Garcia, who together directed the government actions on regional integration field. In conclusion it is important to say that linking both literatures, the party ́s and the government ones, we can see some influences of the party above the government, also, the party’s ideology seems to play an important role on Lula’s administration, as some authors explain on this work.
