As relações entre Brasil e Venezuela (2003-2010): formação de uma aliança estratégica

Abstract

dc:description.abstract

Bilateral relations between Brazil and Venezuela have long been regarded as void. Until the 1970s they were seen on friendly terms but far from any partnership effort, its from the late 70s and early 80s that it establishes indeed a diplomatic contact quantitatively significant and also higher qualification. However, it is only in the XXI century that relations between the two nations reach to admit as the "strategic alliance", from Lula entry in charge of the Brazilian government and Hugo Chavez's statement on the central government of Venezuela, the relationship between the two south American neighbors have reached a level hitherto unpublished. This study develops his considerations from the hypothesis of intensification of bilateral relations between 2003 and 2010, and tries to build an analytical scope that can understand the factors that can influence this movement of relations, as well as attempt to understand the intensity of this modification.
