O Tribunal de Justiça da Paraíba e a busca pela sustentabilidade: a eficiência contra o desperdício

Being a recurring theme, sustainability has reached its place in the organizational vocabulary, mainly because it has been indispensable to business continuity. Therefore, companies, public or private, felt the need to turn to environmental issues, because if it were not so, would be doomed to failure of its activities, mainly due to the material limitations. Knowing this, this work aims in general to study the environmental management at the Court of the State of Paraíba (JTPB). It sought to show how is important an efficient administration that worries about the environmental impacts caused by human action. To conduct this study, semi- structured interviews were held with agents involved of the general management and, specifically, to the commission of sustainability. By appropriate, were applied to the servers of the organ under study open questionnaires, built on specific roadmaps of a qualitative research. Furthermore, it was used form that is similar to the questionnaire. As attempts to explain the phenomenon in focus, this research is classified as explanatory, analyzing the causes and consequences of the studied fact. It is known that in order to develop its work, the JTPB needs materials and resources. These, in turn, are naturally limited and require a cost. For this, one needs a good management of resources to achieve the goals and objectives established for each new management. It is essential for efficient management of resources and that appreciates the economy as a fundamental principle to reduce costs, the scope of full environmental sustainability.
