Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe female entrepreneurship has grown over the years. This growth can be explained by several factors such as lack of openness in the traditional market, professional achievement, gain flexibility and the variable work - family. Many authors such as Machado et al (2013), Martins et al (2010), Munhoz (2000) bring these perspectives on women's entrepreneurship, their growth, their way of managing the business and the peculiarities in the opening of enterprises by women, target today more incentives. The objectives of this study were to discover the motivations for starting a business by women and how they manage their business. The research method was oral history for being a phenomenological study based on subjective experiences of entrepreneurs. The result indicates that the Pessoenses entrepreneurs surveyed differ slightly from previous research in that type of study. It is evident, even become an entrepreneur becomes a more dynamic and flexible way to achieving your goals.
