Integração dos processos da cadeia de suprimentos da Coteminas S.A.: análise apartir do modelo de configuração.

This study aimed to analyze the integration of the supply chain of the textile industry Coteminas SA by applying the model configuration chains. The study is characterized as a descriptive, documentary and literature; qualitative approach and had the technical research interviews with managers (Procurement, Logistics and PCP) and director of industrial organization. The transcripts were analyzed according to the procedures of content analysis. For grounding of the research, a survey was done on the main theoretical issues related to the supply chain, such as logistics processes, integration and configuration model chains. The configuration model was applied to research Aragão et al. (2004) and assesses the supply chain through four key dimensions: integration of business processes, identification of key members, sharing information and adopting performance measures. In addition to the application of the model were characterized: the textile supply chain, the production process for the manufacture of towels, macroprocesses logistical adopted and the interactions of logistics processes along the chain. Business processes chosen for applying the model in the case study were: management of supplier relationship management, manufacturing, and order fulfillment. As a conclusion of the study, it was realized that there is greater integration of the supply chain in relation to suppliers, due to factors such as use of integrated information systems and vertical integration of the supply of the main raw material. Although there was evidence of lower integration toward downstream in the chain because of the lack of information sharing between the focal firm and the clients of 1st level.
