A importância da leitura nos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental: uma experiência com projetos de leitura

This study aimed to demonstrate to children the importance of reading habit to expand the knowledge and creativity to form a critical and participatory individual acting in society. To develop the work was essential to apply two readings projects that lasted close to classes in the school calendar, but it was decided realize the activities on Fridays.In a class with 35 children between the ages of seven (7) years, two with deficiencies, all occurred as the goal. The coordination of the institution, with the team, calls on parents some children's literature books to complement the existent in the school library,therefore it is expected that during educational activities all books could be read. A very significant practical, considering the development of projects that facilitate child's learning. The result was satisfactory; in the end of the year we found that only two children do not perform satisfactorily on reading activities.Each reading project lasted one semester, at the end we find that the proposed activities were carried out successfully for all children with collaboration of families,we consider our valuable experience for both since achieved significant results, regarding those who could not read, these require care beyond the educational environment and is fundamental, that the work to develop such capacity requires the participation of other experts, in addition to existing teachers and facilitator.
