O papel da Empresa Júnior de Administração da UFPB no desenvolvimento de características empreendedoras em seus participantes.

As each day goes by the term entrepreneurship is discussed further in universities, especially in Business Administration courses. This trend is characterized primarily by strong demand that comes from both society, by people willing to take risks to opening new businesses that generate economic impact on their communities as well as by organizations in the market, seeking professionals with distinguished entrepreneurial, and the people innovative, creative and that take calculated risks from opportunities identified in the organizational environment. From this, the possibility of forming entrepreneurs has been increasingly encouraged in higher education institutions around Brazil. Within this context, the junior enterprises have been one of the main protagonists in the formation and potentiation of entrepreneurial characteristics in the students who participate. This study aimed to detect how the career in the junior enterprise contributes to the development of entrepreneurial characteristics in its members. For this, we used the UFPB Business Junior Enterprise as the object of study from a qualitative data collection done through interviews with former members of the company to get their insights on the topic. As a result, it was realized that in fact the Business Junior Enterprise was very important in the development of entrepreneurial characteristics in its participants as work under pressure, leadership, proactivity and team spirit, justified by the number of situations experienced throughout his career in the company. Besides, it was realized that this experience helps awaken the desire to undertake. Despite these contributions, the high turnover, the hard living and harassment market are factors that limit the development of members. The study paves the way for more complex research into the Junior Enterprise Movement, as well as studies on the quality of entrepreneurship education in the universities of the country.
