Materiais didáticos como facilitadores do processo de ensino e aprendizagem: um estudo da conscientização de adulto na Campanha de Educação Popular da Paraíba – CEPLAR

The learning materials are fundamental tools for the facilitation of the process of teaching and learning, and the education of young people and adults require materials that serve primarily to the student. Therefore, this work was developed to highlight and analyze the characteristics of the teaching materials of Popular education campaign of Paraíba (CEPLAR), emphasizing the importance of teaching material for the construction of new knowledge, characterizing it as facilitators of learning and teaching processes. For the observation and analysis of these characteristics, we carry out bibliographic research and interview with a member of the campaign for lifting of materials produced in CEPLAR. Although some material is damaged, and even lost, during the military dictatorship, can present culture sheets, lesson of awareness and plug script intended for adult literacy, in addition to the book and Work Force aimed at this stage of adults. The materials used in the campaign were based on Paulo Freire’s literacy System, and had as its guiding axis the learning process the word generator. A didactic material enriched philosophical texts that sought popular mass awareness.
