Jogos de loteria esportiva: fonte de motivação para o ensino de combinação e probabilidade

The present work has as main objective to search using sports lottery games can be motivational source for the study of probability and combination in a class of 3rd year high school students of Escola Estadual Dr. Antonio Batista Santiago city of Itabaiana-PB. For that we take as the basis of some authors, including Freire (1998), Gil (1991), Yin (2005), among others, in addition to the official documents of education in Brazil, as the National curricular parameters, PCN (1998). We use a methodology based on a qualitative research a case study, with descriptive character, where we try to observe if the proposed activities in groups through the lottery provide students with a more effective and significant knowledge of the content covered. At the end of the survey, comparing the results obtained by the students before the application of the questionnaire and then with the activities applied, we see the level of satisfaction and enjoyment of students who participated in the activities carried out in the classroom.
