Informação e papel: Preservar é preciso?

In this work, will address the preservation of information in the paper support emphasizing since the emergence of this support to basic precautions that users must be inside the archive becoming able to keep "alive" the very important information for the history of humanity. Despite technological advances, the paper remains a widely used support and much of the documentary records are in this kind of support, so it is important that the information worker has a better understanding of the preservation of paper and be aware of the importance to target more precisely the conservation of this support so you do not make use of more invasive and more expensive methods such as the restoration. Thus, this article aims to analyse the archivist literature focusing on preservation and conservation as well as knowing the aggressors of the paper agents and to evidence the importance of preserving the document in this support. As for methodology, we opted for a systematic review of research. Given the literature review performed it is expected contribute to the stimulate in the archivists the need to think the conservation as a way to act in the prevention.
