Contribuições das ações psicopedagógicas em uma criança com características de espectro autista: um estudo de caso

Despite the technology and large studies in medicine, notably in the area of child and adolescent psychopathology, even nowadays, we have no studiesthat describe and bring concepts and strategies that enhance the development of a child with ASD. Several scholars have addressed the possible etiologic factors, but we know very little about what they are. We only know the harm and damage caused to children and their families, reflecting the social, academic and emotional aspects that are affected by this illness. Thus, this paper deals with the possible contributions of psycho-pedagogical actions in a child with suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder, seeking to inform and work on strategies that educational psychology uses to minimize the damage and facilitate a better development of the child's daily school life and activities. This study had the participation of J.C.T .B, a 7 year old male, whose initial demand was deficit in reading, writing, motor coordination and difficulty in establishing social ties. From the sessions, the following aspects were observed: learning processes, cognitive level and social ties. The evaluation process and intervening psychofavored the development of the patient through psycho strategies, but with some regressions.
