A intervenção psicopedagógica: um estudo de caso de uma criança com espectro autista

The psychopedagogical intervention is a primordial agent to the evolutional development of children with autistic spectrum disorder. Having said that, this study is aimed at not only outlining a psychopedagogical intervention and analyzing its outcomes to the learning development process of an assisted child but also getting to know the set of interventions which promote better development of impaired skills caused by the disorder and those which benefits the fully developed ones. This case study had as its participant a child from João Pessoa, in the state of Paraíba, diagnosed with autistic spectrum disorder presenting difficul ty in motricity, reading and writing as well as lack of interest in learning. Some of the instruments used throughout the intervention were anamnesis, log book, psychopedagogical games and reading and writing activities. The child showed a great performance and satisfactory results in mostly all activities undertaken during the assistance period. The data undergone a qualitative analysis by means of an individual report of the assisted child, highlighting his successes and failures throughout the assistance period,
