Parque Natural Municipal de Cabedelo: atividades humanas e impactos ambientais

This work aims to analyze human activities and environmental impacts in the Municipal Natural Park Cabedelo, which is an important ecological and natural heritage sandbank, reminiscent of ecosystem area of Atlantic Forest, which must be preserved and protected, harmonizing activities human with the conservation of ecological functions. Because of these aspects is that the Cabedelo Municipal Natural Park is considered a Municipal Unit of Integral Protection to use quite limited, which can not reconcile occurrences that threaten their environmental integrity. This study was based on the interdisciplinalidade method applied environmental issues, with the intention of incorporating various specialties in the production of geographical thought. In this sense, it was established a methodology that consisted basically in check, in place of all or any shocking fact, with literature review, observations, informal interviews and questionnaires. Thus, it was found that the Municipal Natural Park Cabedelo has been the target of several impactful actions that can be associated with lack of infrastructure, which has no minimum requirements to ensure his protection.
