A questão da moradia na cidade de João Pessoa: Processo de ocupação na fazenda Ponta de Gramame

Today in Brazil there are thousands of people living in camps both in the countryside and the city. The issue of housing has been increasingly present in our daily lives, and often we can not analyze and understand the factors that make this very difficult issue to be addressed. This paper will show the conditions experienced by some families residing in the area of an old farmhouse, namely: Finance Gramame tip, located in Gramame neighborhood. Unlike other districts of the city of Joao Pessoa, Gramame has some characteristics somewhat different. Walking through the neighborhood can observe a rural aspect in buildings and way of life of the inhabitants, we also find residential areas, condominiums, farms, universities, factories, diverse growing area and several tracks of urban and rural empty. This study aims to understand the issue of housing in the urban fringe area in Gramame neighborhood and characterize the use and occupation of land in this area.
