Uma visita ao Portal de Transparência da Prefeitura Municipal de João Pessoa - PB, à luz da Lei de Acesso a Informação e dos conceitos de acessibilidade e usabilidade

In this monograph paper it wad reported an exploratory survey on the João Pessoa - PB city hall Transparency Portal, having as theoretical basis the Access to Information Act and the accessibility and usability criteria. The João Pessoa city hall portal was selected as the object of this research for being the first in the Socioeconomic Study Institute - INESC ranking of search, which measured the quality of the country's transparency portals. The research aims to carry out an analysis from the perspective of a citizen and graduate student in archival, reporting her perception of how the Portal interacts with the users that access it, in order to observe the ease of understanding of the available information, checking their accessibility for people with disabilities or other disablement, whether physical, motor, cognitive, cultural or social. The monograph paper brings to light the theoretical concepts of accessibility and usability, and the criteria established by the no 12.159/2011 Law on the provision of public information, its activities and projects and the requirements that transparency portals should consider when building your virtual interfaces on the Internet. It was found that the quality refered to the João Pessoa city hall portal by ISS research is relevant, since its usability lives up to the position as research, once its interface shows concern for understanding of the information as it shows, besides it meets virtually all requirements of the law in question, falling short only on the issue of accessibility for people with disabilities.
