It aimed to describe how the activities of organization of documentary typology, real estate deeds and land that belong to UFPB were developed since sanitization until digitization. It also aimed to evaluate if this treatment facilitated the access for the users that deal with these documents. The methodology that was used was explicative research, due to the familiarity with the collection, and the exploratory research to know the results of what was applied to. It is concluded that the organization of scanned documents has facilitated the recuperation of information by the employees that use them. Objetivou descrever como foram desenvolvidas as atividades de organização das tipologias documentais escrituras de imóveis e terrenos pertencentes a UFPB, desde a higienização a digitalização, e avaliar se esse tratamento facilitou o acesso para os usuários que os consultam. A metodologia utilizada foi a pesquisa explicativa, pela familiaridade com o acervo; e a pesquisa exploratória, objetivando saber o resultado do que foi aplicado. Conclui-se que a organização dos documentos digitalizados facilitou a recuperação da informação por parte dos servidores que os utilizam.
